Well these dayz when i have spare time, i am using it to volunteer at a hospital!. I alwayz have great stories where i am able to help ppl!. I alwayz love when i am able to make a difference!.

Ok so to volunteer we need to keep in mind a lot of rules like privacy rules to keep the patient privacy and not giving information about patients and their conditionz and their names out to ppl!. And every year we have to take testz to refresh this memory!. There are many volunteerz here at this hospitalz!. Many older ppl, who retired and wanted to just help out the communinty!. So there was this lady who had to take this test about privacy!. The test was in the computer!. She is an old lady so she didn't know how to use the computer!. The volunteer cordinator called me over and introduced me to her and was like " this is BQ ( my name ), she is really smart!. She can help you with the computer stuff and the test!. Just go with her!." So i walked down with her!. Logged on to the computer, got her to the test and clicked answers for her when she told me the answer!. But there were a few of them that she didn't know, i helped her with that!. And guesss what at the end, she got a 100 % !! I gave her a hi-5!. She was very happy ! Because she volunteered as a pastoral helper for the protastant church!. Which means, what she did was she went and prayed for the patients in their rooms if they ask them!. She was telling me all this on the way back!. When it was time to say good bye she said thank you and I said " its no problem!. Every once in a while when u get time, just pray for me too!." She was kinda happy she told me that she would pray for me for sure ! I was very happy ! I did only some work in the computer for her and helped her on the test!. But the joy i recieved was amazing !!!!

Well I think the next day when i was volunteering, the nurse told me to stay with this gurl as her mom was not there and the gurl was like 6 years old and was alone in her room!. I stayed with her, helped her change her cloths, talked to her, watched tv with her, ever spoon fed her ! I asked whether she wanted me to stay with her and she said she wanted me to say ! I wass soo happy madhavi ! It was like i was able to make a difference in the gurlzz life!. Some care giverz came to me and was like " are u the girls mother !?" I was like hmm!.!. no ! lolzz But i think i definitely was happy with what i did!. I was able to help a little girl!. Maybe i didn't do much ! But i think being there for her when she was sick was the best thing i could do for her!. I was very happy with what i was able to do!. I bet the girl won't remember me a long time from now as she is only 6 now ! But i think i will remember it forever because i was soo proud of myself !Www@QuestionHome@Com

I truly believe that everything we do is for our own benefit, and that's okay!. I believe that the greatest way that we can help ourselves is to help others!.

I would like to think that I do a lot of things without thinking about the reward!. This morning, there was a friend of mine that needed me to stay and listen for a few hours, and he was grateful that I stayed, even though I didn't really want to!. Now I say that I didn't want to stay which isn't really true!. I wanted to stay to help my friend!. Did I think I was going to get something back in return!? Perhaps not consciously, but there was something inside of me that was happy I stayed!. It's not wrong to do good to other people for unconsciously selfish reasons!.

I've made up my mind a long time ago, that I would feel better about myself and that I would be happier if I helped other people!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know!. I either do it all the time and don't think about it!. Or I almost never do it!. What's interesting is that in retrospect all of my actions could be explained as expecting results and as not expecting results!. I gave my partner a hug this morning!.!.!. did I expect one in return!? Or was I just so happy to do it!? I think either could be true!. I really don't know!.

And YES I absolutely agree with you that when I forget about results I feel really good and positive!.!.!. well!.!.!. as far as I know anyway!.

in the school it was handwriting,essay writing,elocation competition!.!.!.!.!.!.!.i participated in each & tryed my best!.!.!.!.so i learnt the topics in detail which was given!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.i have done a hard work!.!.!.!.i thought that always the prizes are going to that students only!.!.!.so no chance of mine!.!.!.!.& the result was out!.!.!.!.!.teacher announced the names & i was not expecting!.!.!.!.!. & the name was announced of mine!.!.!.i was just shocked!.!.!.!.!.!.all my frds & teachers & my lovely mom with whom support i taken interest congraulated me!.!.!.!.!.!.!.i was good at studies bt never got rank!.!.!.!.!.bt this time i was shocked & very happy!.!.!.!.
this means that hard work is neccessary,without that nothing is possible!.!.!.!.!.!.i got total 4 prizes!.!.!.!.i was so much happy that time i cant reconize in words!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

Ohh yes!.!.!.!.i like to help people!.!.!.many times i have done like that!.!.!.well,recently!.!.!.it was when i helped an old "dadaji"!.!.he was pretty old and wanted to go to temple!.!.!.!.i was passing by that street so i offered him a lift on my vehicle!.!.!.and,he was so happy!.!.!.that was great for me:)
