What I think is!.!.!.that most people know about Murphy's Law but do not understand it, (them)!.

His son has responded to this miss understanding!. Before he did this I looked into Murphy's Law and discovered what Mr!. Murphy did for a living and about his 20 (I believe) "laws" of functionality!.

His job was to take an item, say a new toaster, and run it until it failed in order to ascertain its probable life, then write a report for the , I believe, Bureau of Standards!.

The famous, "if it can fail!.!.!.it will" is but one example of his wisdom and I haven't read his son's book but I assume it asks people not to associate his father with!.!.!.failure since that would be grossly inaccurate!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's the way the necessary evilness of our universe operates!. This universe is a rough universe!. It is a terrible and deadly universe!. Only the strong survive it, only the ruthless can own it!. Given one weak spot a being cannot long endure it for this universe will search it out and enlarge it and fester and probe it until that weak spot is a festering wound so large that the being is engulfed by his own sores!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
