Question: Logic Question Here!?!!?
Alonzo, Kurt, Rudolf and Willard are four creative artists of great talent!.
One is a dancer, one is a painter, one is a singer and one is a writer, though not necessarily in that order!.
1!.) Alonzo and Rudolf were in the audience the night the singer made his debut on the concert stage!.
2!.) Both Kurt and the writer have their portraits painted from life by the painter!.
3!.)The writer, whose biography of Willard was a best seller, is planning to write a biography on Alonzo!.
4!.) Alonzo has never heard of Rudolf!.

The question is: What is each man's artistic field!?

Alonzo= writer *cuz he could b writin an autobiography*
Kurt=Singer*cuz no one else can b*
Rudolph=Dancer*cuz it's d only 1 he can b*
Willard=painter*cuz rudolf couldna painted alonzo and kurt cuz he doesnt know them(4) so it wuz only willy*

It doesn't work or else premise 2) is ambiguous!. The writer MUST be kurt since it cannot be willard or alonzo and because rudolf has never heard of alonzo it cannot be him either!.

However, unless you say kurt and the writer is one in the same for premise 2) then kurt cannot be the writer either!.

Even if we make the assumption that premise 2) meant that Kurt and the writer were one in the same there is no way of determining who is the painter and dancer between rudolf and alonzo since clearly willard must be the singer

edit: sorry alexis you have to be wrong cause if both Kurt and the writer (rudolf) had their portraits painted by alonzo then he must know rudolf which premise 4) says he can'tWww@QuestionHome@Com

I wrote each name down and each artistic feild down and as I went through each line I wrote who was NOT that field!. I can't explain why the answers are there, but that's how i came p with those answers!.
