When or if abiognesis (the creation of the first self replicating molecules) occurred is still a hot topic of debate!. Most sciencists, unlike most religionists, don't mind saying, "We don't know, yet, we're still looking!." If the hypothesis about the big bang is correct, than after the primordial atom (that infinitely dense point containing all matter and energy currently in our universe) exploded, probably the majority of atoms were hydrogen atoms!. Was that primordial atom God!? Was it exploding itself away from a state of perfection, of motionless unity, into the chaotic state that is allowing for the formation of countless different kinds of nebulae, galaxies, suns, planets, etc!., a supreme act of divine will!? Maybe!. There's no evidence either way!. As it happens, I think it was!. However, the big bang, abiogenisis, and evolution via natural selection being responsibly for the diversity of life on this particular planet really don't have all that much to do with one another!. They are not linked in direct chains of causation!. What's more, the holes and flaws in each theory are not cause for panic among scientists!. Here's a secret for you!. There is no "SCIENCE", and giant conspiracy of people in white lab coats whose stated goal is the destruction of religion!. They actually are mostly competitors for headlines and research grants!. They enjoy the intellectual stimulation of challenging one another, or checking and rechecking each other's work for flaws!.
