not always bad to lie!.
lies can help a society! lies can also help protect other people!.
like say uhm you have a friend that's ugly and looks gay and she ate her boyfriend[because she happened to eat her boyfriend for some reason] but she's really friendly and nice and u love her family and they love you back and you guys are like best friends and she's like the nicest friend u had and you wouldnt hve lived without her because she saved your life from falling off a cliff or from getting shot[for some reason i dont know how she can save you but like just imagine]!. if you had the urge to be extremely honest and say she's ugly and looks gay and u told other people she ate her boyfriend, then she'd be really sad and u'd lose a friend that helped you live longer and ya know there arent good friends like that give up their time from being a star in this new show called Ugly Ashley to save your life from a dangerous cliff!.

so yeah lies can help a society, keep your friends, and other things!. but don't lie too much! because remember, too much of something isn't good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's wrong to be dishonest!. But you can be very dishonest - can commit the blackest of deception by telling the literal truth!. White lies are not just more "convenient" than the truth; they convey the truth by the way they are presented!.
For instance!. The truth of the matter is that someone wants to convey the fact that their friend or partner matters to them more than anything in the world and that they would do anything for them!. Because this is the truth!.
And if they thought that something that they did could be misunderstood - that would change that impression - then they tell a white lie!. If they had the decided to tell the literal truth - well, the hearer might understand it to mean a situation or meaning that simply wasn't so - the meaning he received would be a lie!.
It all depends on how you define lies and truth!. By telling literal facts or by sending a truthful message!? And honesty and sincerity - in spirit - is ALWAYS the best policy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Although I have not been able to keep to this high standard, I have come to believe that it is, in fact, always bad to lie!. Most forms of misleading are done for some advantage or from a lack of moral courage!. The advantages are usually superficial and the harm profound!.

Sometimes one greets in the street or at work someone whom one does not like, "Hi, Tracy, good to see you!" This is a bad thing to do, morally confusing to the Tracy and to oneself!. Other lies wind up doing harm to the person lied to and the liar as well, and these internal consequences usually are harder to root out and deal with than the truth!.

One is not obligated to aggressively say that one does not like someone or to be cruel or harsh, but one does have an obligation to the truth in so far as one believes that one sees it!. The last state of a liar is worse than the first!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

its only bad to lie if your one of those people who are like serial liars and make up a load of rubbish to make them selves more exciting!.
White lies I'm all for, many a white lie I've told to save someone being hurt!.
Its knowing when not to use a white lie, where the truth may hurt but the white lie would cause more pain in the endWww@QuestionHome@Com

No it can be Noble to lie but only to protect people for example if someone tried really hard to make you dinner and it was awful it would be OK to lie and say it was nice because to tell the truth would be hurtful for no reason and no benifit to anyone if you told the truth!. though caution should always be used when lying because it may be worse if they found out you lied!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is no such thing as something that is ALWAYS wrong!. a famous example is the 'desert island Promises' conundrum- you are stuck on a desert Island with a pirate chief who is dying!. His last breath is spent asking you to promise to take his millions of pounds of money (won by gambling) and give it to the Jockey association!. You promise as he fades away and are soon rescued!. Do you give the money to the Jockey association (a large and well funded organisation) or to Oxfam (to help starvingchildren in Africa!?)Www@QuestionHome@Com
