I disagree that we must refine ourselves in order to be with other people!. We do it for ourselves!. And I do think it possible to be without others!. Just give me the chance, ( oh please god, that little wood cabin in Montana!?) I contanstly look for ways to improve myself but its because I don't want to be like the countless others out there that are so rude, crude in their thoughts and actions, sexually oriented to the point of being obessessed with anything sexual!. It's no wonder I want to hide in the mountains!. The refining I do, I do for myself!. To view myself as a better person!. Not for anyone else!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you do not refine crude-oil to petrol, octane, butane etc, the crude oil would be useless! Think the arithmetics this way!. On the other hand, take the English word :FINE!. It's a positive word with positive nature!. Adding "RE" makes it more positive, i!.e!. REFINED! I wish the concerned persons behind English language would allow us to add another RE, I would be more happy to Re-REFINE myself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

coz people by nature are gregarious!. they can never withstand being alone!. with that, they seek attention and approval from others and the only way to attain such high social stature is to be refined!. its like the social thumbs-up of life!. showing that you did a great job or that i admire you phrase that we are all dying to hear!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
