and no!. that is not a childish tactic!. sometimes that is the only way to get through to them what right and wrong is!.

I don't recommend any age to be bare bottom spanked!. Some children will undoubtedly temporarily cease the behavior out of fear and humiliation, but you are teaching another lesson as well!. that lesson is; (when you want someone to do what you want, it helps if you hit them) that ain't cool!.
Children learn their behavior from the people they are surrounded by!. so if you spank them at a young age, I say shame on you for punishing a helpless child for the precise action you taught them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
