It's too hard to categorize a least favorite "type!." In general- music needs to come from the soul and somehow be meaningful!. The problem with music now is it is for the most part more business than art!. Genres, such as Country and Hip-Hop, have been appropriated for the sake of i-tunes- to the detriment of the traditional music store- like Tower and Virgin!. I can't stand rock bands that are more fashion than rock- Country acts from LA and DJs who traded their turntables for a computer!. peace!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actually, I appreciate all types and styles of music!.!.!.!.!.it's lyrics that drive me away from songs!. Music is good for the soul, the spirit, and the mind!. Lyrics are often the pollution within the beauty of the music, although this is not the category I place the majority of song lyrics in!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it's so obnoxious how country and rap are the most hated!.
you just need to listen to better stuff then what's popular!.
listen to Dolly Parton, Mojo Nixon, Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams, or Jeanie C!. Riley before you judge country music,
as for rap, Immortal Technique, MC Lyte, Public Enemy, Naughty By Nature, and The Fugees are brilliant!.

I am not crazy about country!. I find it mostly depressing!.

I don't like bluegrass either!. My step moms family is a famous bluegrass group called the Cooksies and I have to listen to them all the time!.!.!.!.I wanna hang myself!.

I hate metal of any kind and any of that screamo stuff!. I like singing, not screaming!. To me, that kind of stuff just isn't music!.

Pop!. Repetitive no brainer music generally performed by someone who really can't sing but tweaked to sound like something remotely ok!.
