Question: If every possible choice we could make happens somewhere, is that "free will"!?
With the multiverse theory of existence, we actually make each and every choice we might possibly want to make at any given moment, each divergent choice occuring in universes which emerged from the original moment at which the decision had to be made!.
If our lives in some sense follow each and every course they can possibly follow on up to and including virtually infinite possibilities, is this not a sort of "ultimate free will", yet also "ultimate determinism"!?

I dont believe in this theory!.
Determinism doesnt allow for infinite possibilities!. Determinism is quite simple!.!.!. one action leads into one reaction!. There are no alternate possibilities!.!.!. everything is calculable!. All of time is predetermined!.
If two different time-lines can occur in which two different choices for the same event are made!.!.!. then the theory of determinism is wrong!. Because one cause can have two outcomes, one action can have two reactions, and the math is made unpredictable for any given branch before its known!.
I am willing to concede that determinism is wrong!.!.!. but only in favor of spiritualism, which transcends physical reality and allows for free-will!.
But that isnt your question!.
You want to know if an infinite simultaneous coinciding possibilities constitutes free will!.!.!. your will is irrelevant if its going to happen anyway in one time line or another!.
Given what you mean by this question, I would say you are right!.!.!. this is not free will!. But a good illusion of it!.

I also don't believe the many worlds interpretation to be true, but I guess it wouldn't be any sort of determinism unless it's possible in theory to know which universe you're going to end up in!. Even if there are infinite paths through the universes, do you also have to assume infinite path takers!?
It's very tempting to try and attribute the unknowns of consciousness to the unknowables of quantum physics, but there may be no link between them at all!. We can't know anything about free will until we have a solid understanding of how consciousness works!.
It would be nice if the two problems were related, but there is no evidence for it!. I'll spam this link for Realistic Monism again though because it's a wonderful example of why it's so tempting-

" Free " can be defined as " without cost or consequence " - in that sense , there is no " free will " !. Every decision you think you make " freely " is the effect of some previous decision or outside effect !. Causality is a much more logical explanation for events !. Everything we do has an effect , somehow !. So , we must always be mindful of what we do and how it will effect the Universe !.
