I would say both are true!.
Consolation to me is an expression of love!. To express caring and sympathy and empathy are true expressions of love!.
On the other hand, if love is true, it is unselfish and offers consolation as a natural component!. If you truly love someone, you think of them first, before yourself, and you are willing to sacrifice for their well-being!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think love and consolation go together, they are compatible to one another!. In terms of which one comes first, you can argue both ways, and get answers that sound correct bothways!. Love means feeling consolation, and being in consolation, means feeling loved!. I think it works both ways!. Which comes first, the egg, or the chicken!?
