I do not believe that the planet will last that long considering the rate of microscopic and macroscopic destruction taking place each nanosecond of each minute of each hour of each day of each week of each month of each year!. Live for today, live life as an adventure, cherish each moment because each moment happens only once!.
Yes, I believe this to be an optimistic outlook on life!.!.!.!.being in the "here-and-now", living for the present moment!. That's what I have and that's my choice of what to do with it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Cold, calculating, brilliantly lit but not human!. We will have given birth by then to true synthetic intelligence (or "artificial" intelligence, though that's a misnomer imho)!. We will also have made great strides in connecting our own neurologies to computer networks!.

In 50 years, the first macro-humans will have begun to emerge!. At that time, we will all see our destiny!.

Just a guess, of course!. By that last paragraph, I'm referring to borg-like collectives of human beings forming larger, more complex "macro-humans"!. These are inevitible given the direction our technology is progressing, but I doubt very much they will force any to join them that do not already wish to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Oh boy that is scary!. My grand-kids will be between 50 and 60 years old then!.
I see the United States failing to keep up with the changes!. And that we will no longer be the leader of the world!. We will be paying out debts for our arrogance!. Our ability to transport things will have failed and society will be a mix of extreme technology and sheer poverty and isolation!. Society as a whole will return to the days of when our country was discovered and taken over- then settled!.
There will be confusion and there will be internal war, just like the middle east!. We would be unable to sustain the good-life!.
It will be the survival of the fittest!. We will be in isolated groups of people!. There will be an underground group of left-overs who work on regaining the unity of the nation!. They will have the money and the tools to live a high life without others knowing about it!. Nature will continue to unleash her wrath in spite of who lives where!. There will be people who migrate south like Gypsys!. Africa will flurish and draw humans to invade countries who are no longer under any kind of orginazation!. Human clame land for their own and the cycle of human -digression continues!. South America will be pushed to the max with the millions of mirgrnts who are just looking for a place to surrive!.

Many will die, like the Donner party did, from lack of ability to know what to do to surrive!.

There will be new morfted bactiria and sickness will not be controled!. Mass of mankind die from lack of medicare!.

There will be countries like Scandinvia who are in a constant state of winter!. Surrival is nearly impossible!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We have the technology to all have houses with good, cheap, computerized security at a fair price!.

well in my opinion if the world keeps following the same path it has been, we will experiance a limit of resources, acid rain will become a huge issue, the depleting of ecosystems will be an issue, war over resources will be a problem, the shift in climate, basically not goodWww@QuestionHome@Com
