Mega churches are modern, christian churches that have so many members that one can easily remain anonymous, just as most persons currently are in the US and yet still say you are a member of a particular congregation!.

IN such a church, you may know your pastors name but, unless you are very active, especially in the financial aspects of said church, he probably will not know yours!. It is as impersonal as the supposed community ethic of Christianity can get and still pretend to be christian!.

The current trend in commercial Christianity is the "gospel of wealth" that preaches that god wants to bless you in this life time with wealth so that you can give abundantly to the mega church!. This Christianity at its lowest moral level with an emphasis on personal greed (as a good) and materialism as a personal and religious goal!. They have basically re-written the gospel message and Jesus H!. Christ is now a spiritual car salesman, huckster/con man out to grant your greediest wishes for a price ( like you immortal soul!.!.!.)!.

This is capitalistic Christianity and it seem to be just what a majority of Americans want from their God as it's money that matters in the USA!.

Mega Churches are run by televangelists, and they aren't Christian, they're pseudo-Christian and allow the televangelists to afford $23,000 toilets, air-conditioned dog houses, gold and diamond jewelry, expensive cars, hookers, big houses, Swiss bank accounts and more!.

They seem to exist to prove P!.T!. Barnum's quote,"There's one born every minute!."

People flock to them to give them money, I guess that makes all televangelists "flockers!." The flocking evangelists seem to be able to make people come together and give huge amounts of money by telling them what they want to hear!.

They are pastors, flocking their sheep!.

Mega churches are a picture of the Laodicean Church age!. Rich, increased with good and in need of nothing!. A church is financially rich but spiritually poor with Jesus on the outside wanting in!.
