Question: How can i live up to this!?how can i express myself!?
maybe i dont!.!.life right now is soo boring and i want to have fun!.!.im 12 and really need to loosen up!.i read what people have to say about them selves on myspace and stuff and wish i could have that!.!.like be independant or feel better within myself!.i want to show my style which is likea cool rue21 tee with skinny jeans and converse or vans!.!.but for that you have to have money!.and to be honest!.!.my parents deffanetly dont spoil me!so how do i get these things!?how can i express my self and be proud of what my style is!?how else can i express myself!?and how can i find out what my interests are!?

1) I'm 34 and I'm still trying to become more independent!.!.!. I have all the freedom in the world, and am basicly a 'slave' to all the options set before me!.!.!.
2) One thing I regret when I was your age was reading, reading, reading to discover how to act, behave, think, problem-solve, etc!. Some of these books helped alot but like a sugar-rush it was gone in a flash, and I was craving the next intelectual-sugar-rush!.!.!.!.
3) Over and over in my life I would hop from book to book, and though its allowed me to talk a good-game here on Yahoo-Answers, most of the time I don't follow my own advice!.!.!.!.
4) All that to say, don't over-retreat into books and read about the life you want to experience!.!.just walk outside and experience it!.!.!.become the first 12-year-old scientist in the world and discover how the world 'works' on your own terms!.
5) Play, fish, golf, observe reality happening outside your very house, and ask 'why' is this happening!.!. conduct experiments, reinvent the wheel if you have to, you may not improve it; but you'll have a heart-knowledge and a head-knowledge of 'why' a wheel is the way it is, that some of us 'philosophers' may never know!.
6) Don't limit yourself to merely fashionable-accessories, and independence, include these but ask and find for yourself, "What else is there to Life!?" ; like you are doing by asking things here at Y! Answers!.
7) I'm supposed to become independent because I'm way past the age of being an 'adult', and i get accused of milking the system from other adults that surround me!.!.!.
8) Take this time when the stigma of "Adult" isn't necessarily upon you and expand the freedoms you do have by using them to their utmost-capacity!.!.and building upon them!.!.!.!.
9) Choose this day to live YOUR life, however you come to define it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
