Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Some people do not have to search - they find their niche early in life and rest there, seemingly contented and resigned!. They do not seem to ask much of life, sometimes they do not seem to take it seriously!. At times I envy them, but usually I do not understand them - seldom do they understand me!. I have been perceived as bad, problematic, broken, but I have come to understand what I am… I am one of the searchers!. There are, I believe, many of us!. We are not unhappy, but neither are we really content!. We continue to explore life, hoping to uncover its ultimate secret!. We continue to explore ourselves, hoping to understand… We like to walk along the beach - we are drawn by the ocean, taken by its power, its unceasing motion, its mystery and unspeakable beauty!. We like forests and mountains, deserts and hidden rivers, and the lonely cities as well!. We are caught up in the internal struggle for "why"!. The burning question, "What is man in the eyes of God!?" Our sadness is as much a part of our lives as is our laughter!. To share our sadness with the one we love is perhaps as great a joy as we can know - unless it is to share our laughter!. But not many can survive or endure in a relationship with my "Type"!. We are borderline self abusive!. We are motional at times and Ice cold at others; unstable at best!. We searchers are ambitious only for life itself, for everything beautiful it can provide!. Most of all we want to love and be loved!. We want to live in a relationship that will not impede on our wandering, nor prevent our search, nor lock us in prison walls!. Yet, we demand the fullest of attention and expect to be more than a priority!. I do have goals, and a philosophy of life (aim for happiness), but the 'meaning of life' is just way too ambiguous to answer I think!. I guess everything that's important to you!.!.!. relationships, food, relaxation, amusement, etc, everything you enjoy and need!. A single thing can't be 'the meaning of life'; that's impossible I think!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Since I do believe there is a god like force governing this world, I do believe we're on earth to prove that we are worthy of living alongside the lord in the afterlife!. How do we do that!? By living an honest, sincere life with proper morals and ethics!. So, do whatever it is you want with your life, since we have been given freewill, however do it within reasoning!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com To lead a life worthy of living!. It doesn't mean you have to be a model student, an Aid worker, a charity benefactor, Mother Teresa or Jesus reincarnated!. It just means that you take the time you have and use it well, be that setting up shelters for the homeless, being an understanding parent or just making your friends smile!.
