Catch on!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Without doubt there exist a "group mentality" or a "mob mind" that often seems to become exaggerated by fear!. Fear often occurs when one faces an unknown with preconceived ideas about the magnitude of the same making it seem much worse than it is!. Group think fueled by fear has often lead large groups of person to do what later was considered unreasonable!. Emotions, which often resemble the hurricane winds of the psyche, are also very powerful and, depending upon how they are presented, often arouse similar feelings among others!. At one time in human history, such emotion driven fear of the unknown may have been beneficial in that it may have helped others learn to be wary of and avoid certain dangers which they did not understand how to deal with in a more effective manner!. In this present moment and point in human history, such is outdated and creates more harm than benefits!. It is now understood, or should be understood, that working cooperatively, communicating accurately and well towards the mutual benefit of all that exist better serves all than panic driven fear which might well be thought of as "stupidity"!. We can follow the flock without thinking about it, which is often stupid, but intelligence requires that we think about it before we follow, and that is harder, and hurts!. Well our arrogance says we know things, so our stupidity blurts it out feeding off our arrogance!. Intelligence shuts it's mouth and listens while stupidity seems to gain ground!.!. the more it gains the easier it is to fall!.!. so it's contagion is it's own downfall!. Hence, intelligence rears up with the wall, relenquishing the contagions hold!. If I trip over a slight rise in the footpath someone else is responsible because I didn't lift my feet while walking!.
