At my age, yes!. I'm fourteen and I always feel like I need to follow the crowd!. When I see that I'm not wearing the same stylish clothes as other kids at my school, I immediatly beg my mom for a trip to the mall!. I know it doesn't sound very well-adjusted, but it's a habit I can't stop!. When others reject depth or emotions, I water myself down to their ways!. When there are others who think I'm weird, I always feel guilty and try to change myself!. I'm still working on getting out of this type of life, and making it more of my own!. But the truth is, my life is a product of social enviornment, or what other people think!. It's hard, but we must all work on ways of separating ourselves from "the normal!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

I always thought about that, and I wouldn't say completely, at least for me!.

A great deal of my social environment has influence and help create the person I am now!. However, I am in no way an example that could reflect my environment!. I act, feel, look, and see the world differently from them!.

I think in the end, my mental state at birth outweighed the influence from my environment, sense I deal with bipolar disorder!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, and no!.
While My cultural heritage is strong, I am, and always have been, independent in both thought and deed!. My parents didn't have the nice amenable little angel they wanted, they had a child who questioned everything!. I am not a follower!.!.!.I am not a leader!.!.!.I am myself!. A social environment implies similarity in style and pattern, feelings of trust, solidarity!.!.!.!.I have always been an outsider, and have chosen to remain one!. I have overcome certain parts of my education!.!.!.else I would still be a sheep in Romes vast flock!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Of course - the major factors for anyone are heredity and environment, adjusted by random chance (luck)!. The character developed by these factors then comes into play for further development, while these factors still are major players in your life's course!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well!.!.!.our enviornment depends upon our personal reaction to circumstances!. "Circumstances over which I have no control" is a perfectly true phrase!.!.but it must never be made to mean that we cannot control ourselves in those circumstances!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

absolutely!.!.!. my parents, my friends, the school i went to, the people who lived near me!.!.!. all shaped the person i am today, if they were different i would be different, i have no doubtWww@QuestionHome@Com
