Question: Free will!.!. read!.!?
Freedom to choose is given to man by God!. Man has two main choices:

1) accept the Love of God and, upon death, go to paradise for eternity,

2) Refuse God and, upon death, just die, be utterly damned!. How is that freedom of choice when it is the same thing as a gun to your head!?

Since i've been born, nobody has came up to me and said "Hey, if you don't think god is real, you are damned to hell for eternity!" followed by proof!. So, I'm not too worried about it!.

also, did you know there are tribes that have never been contacted by us!? I wonder how they can accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior!. Oh well, I guess they are all just going to go to hell!. That's what they get for not trying to get in contact with us, right!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

The first presumption, that God gave man freewill, presumes that is true, so that's a logical fallacy!.

In addition, the dualistic nature of the argument presumes there is no other option, such as "There is no 'utter damnation'!."

At best, this idea is free will with compelling arguments to choose in a certain direction, which is pretty funny, until you think about places like Zimbabwe, where people are being beaten, arrested, tortured and killed, and being told that they voted for the wrong party!.

Frankly, if people are going to believe in higher power, it should be something greater that we wish to aspire to, not something less!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Indeed, it's not what I'd call a free choice !.!.!. there's coercion, for any person that god made sane and even slightly intelligent!.

But it still doesn't preclude free will itself, as long as there is the freedom to choose not to be saved!.

The only real problem is with the hypocrites who believe this choice is actual !.!.!. that it's possible to be excluded from the love of god by ignorance, error, arrogance, all the ways god made us flawed!. Some love!Www@QuestionHome@Com

its kinda like the choice we have in doing our homework: do the homework, or fail!. what kind of choice is that!?

i don't think its the same as having a gun to your head but it it almost the same as just dying!. what is the difference!? you're still going to be dead no matter which path you choose and why does it matter where you go!? YOU'RE ALREADY DEAD! its not like you're going to ENJOY it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

being Mormon i have a different view on it!. We believe that everyone will get into heaven unless they do horrible evil acts beyond forgiveness!. We also believe there are 3 different heavens!. one for the true and faithful one for those who were half ad half and one for those who lived life but didn't commit that which was previously stated!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i am a christian and god gives us the freedom to make choices in our lives! and who wouldn't want to be in paradise and live for all eternity! can i ask you something what makes ppl not believe in god!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are not only two choices, that is an atheist stereotype of believers!.

I belive and love God!.
I don't believe he is some kind of mind screw that will send us to eternal hell!.
'He' is a loving and just God!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

free will is an illusion!. our decisions are reactions to the forces of the world around us!.
no god eitherWww@QuestionHome@Com
