A man is walking down the street and spies a banana peel in his path, so he sidesteps it to keep from slipping on the peel and falling!. When he sidesteps the banana peel he walks right into an uncovered manhole he didn't see!
Then there's the story of a husband and wife who owned a cottage up north, they regularly went there by their own plane!. There was a small airfield in the area that they used!. Their cottage was on a river bank and the river was quite large!. Recognizing the expanse of the water the husband (pilot) decided to take the wheels off of the plane and put pontoons on the plane so they could just fly to their cottage and land at their own pier without fuss or muss of an airport and traveling back and forth to the cottage and landing strip!. Well!.!.!.!.
They were going up to the cottage and as they were coming in for the landing the both of them husband and wife realized that there were no wheels on the plane! They were landing by habit on the landing strip and all they had were pontoons!. When they realized this the husband in an act of heroics manuvered the plane with a great deal of difficulty to get it airborne before they hit the pavement!. It was touch and go!. Literally!. Just inches from the tarmac and the plane began to rise but in front of them was the tower and pulling back hard as he could, pushing the engine as hard as he could the plane screamed agony to make the distance to clear the tower in front of them, they could see the horror stricken face of the air controller as they went over the tower, they could see the windows vibrating from the pounding of the propeller and noise, and they just made it!.
The both of them husband and wife were mute with horror as he piloted the plane to the river and landed safely at their cottage by the river!.
He cut the engine, glided to a gentle stop on the river and wiped the fear streaked sweat from his face!.
He turned to his wife and said " that was the most stupid thing I've ever done in my life"!. Then he opened the plane door and stepped out !.!.!.!.!.right into the river!

My parents who were both abusive and and down right self serving!. With all the evil they had did to so many I have become truly loving and accepting of everyone with all thier faults!. I had too since I have accepted two of the most vile people who have walked this earth!. I love not for thier sake but my own!. When I send out love to those who are hurtfull my joy is expanded!. It is the same for forgiveness I forgive others so that I do not allow bitterness to infiltrate my mind and cause me angst!. What does cause me agnst is some who are easily lovable have problems in which I am helpless though!. That in mind I have a friend who is need of surgery and all I can do is be loving not enough for my mind to make sense of her suffering!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
