That depends on the level of sense of humor you ascribe to God!.

If God tells you to go jump off a cliff and live, and you jump but die, you obviously couldn't do it!. At the same time if God saved you when you fell, or revived you, you've still not done what God said in a fundamental way!. You didn't jump and survive, you jumped and either He saved you, or brought you back!.

Now, if God tells you straight out that you can do something, and He really is the benign creator, than I would say you can do it!. But that is different from simply being told to go do it!.
