Does one ever have the right or the divinely mandated authority to do harm to another!?

In ending anothers life, one stops, in this present manifestation, that ones possibiity towards attaining enlightenment and / or change in a sense which might prove to be beneficial to that ones self and to all others!.

Abortion would seem to be taking a life of one who has no ability to defend that ones self!. If such is sanctioned, it wuld then be implied by such sanctions and actions that it is considered correct to take the life of any defenseless individual!. How many would this place in danger or harms way!?

Capital punishment is both revenge as well as the state sanctioning the very crime it proposes to punish!.

Revenge is an endless cycle of violence which most often escalates and spreads to harm a great many!. Sanctioning murder, even state sponsored and societially accepted murder leaves all on a slippery slope that might well lead to chaos and/or anarchy!.

Does one know whether or not the very last moments of ones life as a natural end to the same in this present moment and physical manifestation might not be one of the most important and worthwhile learing experience that one may be fortunate enough to experience!?

Does one also propose that there is a separateness between one and all others!? If there is not and all are indeed one as the Guatama Buddha taught, then to diminish the whole by removing one part diminishes all!. Which one has the right to do so even by one owns choosing to end ones own life as ones life is part of all other lives and doing such might prove less than beneficial to ones self and to all others!.

Many questions with each answer dependent upon where one stands as one looks for the same!.

Abortion and euthanasia can be justified but not Capital Punishment because goes against the principal that says that every human life is sacred!. A foetus has not created a personality yet, thus making it not qualified to make decisions!. Euthanasia can eliminate unnecessary suffering, if it follows strict guidelines to avoid mistakes!.

So, in my opinion, the killing of a human being will never be justified!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, in all those cases it is justified!.
Even if human murder is not in one of those categories, it is still justified -- for example, killing someone in self defense!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Having spent several years of my life doing just that for a living (don't ask, I can't tell because we were never there ?) I'm probably a bit biased on the subject!.
But I'd have to agree totally with anti-hero!.
