Question: What Came First - Chicken Or the Egg!?
People have asked this for a long time!. The answer, when you think about it, is very simple!. I can prove my answer with science and reasoning!. The EGG came first, not the chicken!
Everything started as tiny bacteria long ago!. The bacteria slowly, over millions of years, evolved into other things - this process is called evolution!.
One bacteria, the future chicken, slowly changed until an almost-chicken was born!. This almost chicken gave birth to an EGG, which hatched the first full modern day chicken that we know today!.
Evolution is a factual scienticic thesis!. No, it was not the chicken first - "God" did not point his magic wand on the earth and produce a chicken!.
I hope now everyone understands the true answer to the chicken or the egg "unsolved" question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Exactly what I keep having to painstakingly explain to people!.!.!.haha =)

But for the record, an opinion that God created the universe does not conflict with the theory of evolution! It is accepted by a lot of Christians (most Catholics, anyway) that the biblical creation story is a myth created by ancient people that was intended only to tell their children that they believed that God created the world, not that it was done in 7 days!.
Sorry to get off subject, that just bugged me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah you're right!. Darwin solved this age old question along with "what am I!?", "why am I here!?" and "where do living things come from!?" 150 years ago!.
It's only really a paradox to "evilution" deniers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You're sort of just lecturing people on evolution and shooting down intelligent design!. If you're not intersted in other opinions, don't bother asking!. *little short-sighted*Www@QuestionHome@Com

Fire came first to cook said chicken or said egg!. Nuff said!. Although they could have invented Mrs!. Dash a bit sooner!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What was the point of asking the question when you answered it yourself!?!?!? Thanks for the 2 points!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, you answered your question!.!.!.!.hereā€²s my answer!.!.!.

Species change over time in the process of evolution!. Since DNA can only be modified before birth, a mutation must have taken place at conception or within an egg such that an animal similar to a chicken, but not a chicken laid the first chicken egg!.
However, a mutation in one individual is not normally considered a new species!. A speciation event involves the separation of one population from its parent population, so that interbreeding ceases; this is the process whereby domesticated animals are genetically separated from their wild forebears!. The whole separated group can then be recognized as a new species!.

The modern chicken was believed to have descended from another closely related species of birds, the red junglefowl, but recently discovered genetic evidence suggests that the modern domestic chicken is a hybrid descendant of both the red junglefowl and the grey junglefowl Assuming the evidence bears out, a hybrid is a compelling scenario that the egg came before the chicken!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
