If they are ugly or mabey even prettier than you Do you see where I am going with this!. Well I don't think it is right because you judge them on your appereance instead of being brave enough to go up there and talk to them, they could actually be a really nice person!. You can't judge a book by it's cover; weither a person is ugly, pretty, skinny or big!. They might have a great personality inside them!. For example, a girl can be as gorgeous as she can be - great body, face and all - and then end up being a total disaster personality wise!. While on the other hand you meet this average chick, and she has the most beautiful personality!. Which one would you date!?Www@QuestionHome@Com Only a shallow person pretends that it is not natural to do so!. Our primary sense is vision and you would suggest that I not rely upon it!? Of course I do not think that what person looks like will give me all the information I need to make an accurate assessment of that person but I am always mindful of the fact that this method has advantages that should not be ignored!. If you are suggesting that it is wrong to assign different levels of ethical treatment where all other things are equal except for aesthetic appearance then I am inclined to agree!. But if you are suggesting that it is not a necessary part of social interaction to make judgments of people based only upon their physical appearance then I am inclined to believe that you are rather naive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com "Do not judge a book by its cover!." Judging people by how they look like is shallow, and pathetic, instead of trying to actually get to know the person, you are trying to define his whole existence based on his appearance which does not reflect his personality, intelligence, etc!. You can never be sure who someone is unless you explore who he/she is by talking!. I also do not think it is right, there are more than simply looks, people who cannot see beyond looks are immature!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
