Its a good thing to believe in!. If you follow the rules of karma your life will be pretty smooth!. Or did they just create the idea to prevent us from doing bad things!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

"Karma" is said to be a magical force of nature that sort of keeps everything balanced, but if you notice, "Karma" is usually carried out by people on other people!. Some Karma is immediate, like when someone is pestering you you have the option to beat the crap out of them!. But maybe you let it go and that same person pesters someone else down the line who beats the crap out of them!. Either way they get what's coming to them!.

There are other times when "Karma" acts on someone by way of chance such as getting hit by a rock on the freeway or getting in an accident!. You could say it's Karma, but the truth is, most people deserved it somehow!.

I have a friend who is probably the most ethically moral person I've ever met, yet bad things keep happening to her left and right!. I'd say in cases like these, Karma is disproved!.

So it would be safe to say that Karma does not always come around!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Karma and reincarnation go hand in hand!. While a person may seem to have no consequences for actions in this life, they may be born in a situation in a future life that teaches lessons from a different angle!.

Karma is not about punishment, but rather about teaching and helping souls to evolve!. A really good book about this is called COURAGEOUS SOULS!.

And yes, some people do seem luckier than others but perhaps their positive attitude shades all their experiences!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The concept of karma is a difficult one because of its subtlety!.
It's not like a bookkeeper watching you and assigning penalties, but the penalties come from your own actions!.
Simple example: you don't brush your teeth, and what happens!? Tooth decay, but if you take revenge for what someone did to you, what happens!? That's more subtle, but your bad actions and thoughts change the world you live in!.
As they say: "Even a cat doesn't sh*t in it's own bed!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

(!?!?) In my lifetime I've only seen very few times when Karma did someone in!. I have, however, watched many people create unbelievable pain in others lives, and never paid a price for it!. Maybe Karma for them will kick in if we are reincarnated, and they will live the lives that their victims lived in this life!Www@QuestionHome@Com

The doctrine of the transmigration of souls, known in India as samsara, presents such a disheartening prospect for the future that the keen desire of believers in karma is to get out of this seemingly endless cycle of rebirths that Hindus call “The Wheel” and be freed from the power of karma!. Their desire is to be in a state where misery will no longer exist!.
What people who believe themselves to be under the power of karma seek is what the Holy Bible shows man how to attain without rebirths!. It reveals man to be the product of a Creator who is forgiving and merciful!. Instead of putting man under the power of an unrelenting, impersonal law that requires sins to be expiated by rebirths, he lovingly provided a means for man to be forgiven of his sins and to be freed from miseries!. An endless life in joy, peace and security is what he has promised to give as a free gift to all who obey him and worship him in the manner he wants to be worshiped!.
By the sin-atoning sacrifice of a perfect man, Jehovah provided the means by which humans can be forgiven their sins!. Regarding that One the Bible states: “To him all the prophets bear witness, that everyone putting faith in him gets forgiveness of sins through his name!.” (Acts 10:43) No matter what their past may have been, that sacrifice makes forgiveness possible if they are repentant!. Jehovah does not require them to suffer through multitudinous rebirths to be purified of their sins!. “Though the sins of you people should prove to be as scarlet, they will be made white just like snow; though they should be red like crimson cloth, they will become even like wool!.”—Isa!. 1:18Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!.

Karma is always around!. That is what karma means!.

Some people appear to be lucky!. Some people seem unlucky!. That has nothing to do with karma!.

Karma means that one is going!.

Do you understand!?

One is going forward or backward and karma means that one is going to get what one needs!.

The goodness and mercy of god, and you, is karma!.

Most people have the wrong idea of karma, as display in the answers given!.

Karma because it is a foreign word is not well understood to those not familiar with the ancient Eastern traditions, such as the concept of reincarnation, meditation, prayer, and the pursuit of Enlightenment or Nirvana!. Karma is better described as "you reap what you sow!." The example of not brushing your is a good one!. I use drug and substance abuse to better drive home the point!.

Karma, as mentioned before, occurs over many lifetimes, and has been increasingly discovered through the method of past life regression!. Life has been describe as maximum karmic opportunity where in the human condition we have the OPTION to undo "bad" by accumulating "good" karma!. As for the "good" people who can't seem to get a break in life, it can be said that they are working out bad karma from a previous life in this lifetime!. Thus "Cosmic Justice" is fair!.

Before her passing, Mother Teresa, a long time servant of the Lord, had admitted to be living most of her life in inner spiritual torment, as if God had left her!. Yet she still kept her faith stong and continue to serve God!. That is the main lesson of undoing karma that is taught in the East!.

It is widely accepted and taught by all cultures and civilizations that every choice has a consequence!. Karma is another word for consequence of choice!. When you think about it, life is a series of successive choices from birth to death!. Action is only automatic result of choice!. "Good" and "bad" are selective and based on positioning and perception!. There is no good or bad or right or wrong, only knowledge or lack there of of the consequences of choice!.

Notice at any point in our lives we can choice to be compassionate, forgiving, loving, kind, respectful, and peaceful over being angry, resentful, selfish, hateful, violent, or vengeful!. Each of these have there karmic consequence!. To better understand the concept of Karma I hope you visit the link below to hear a great conversation on the subject!. Scroll down to the podcast title "Karma" and just listen!. Some terms and concepts may not make sense now, but the message is powerful and liberating and introduces the possibility that one no longer has to be the victim of circumstance!. The mind is like an umbrella, it works better when its open!.

Thank you for the you excellent question!.
