I am a Taoist, so what I consider God, most would consider a "function" in the universe!. But I pray to God as if he were a person, because this is psychologically soothing!. In some sense I confuse the two, but I do find the whole personal god thing indefensible, despite my having had spiritual experiences when I felt touched by God!. also my greatest philosophic idea came as a message from "God" as I understood it then!. So yes, I believe, and I believe I have communicated with the power of the universe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

we can prove everything else in the universe (yes even black holes) except God!.
he's an ancient myth designed to scare people and keep them in line!.
So before i devote my whole life to following someone, i want physical DNA proof that they actually exist!. I mean what does anyone have besides faith!?
Though i do admit believing in small lies like God are necissary for believing in bigger ones like universal truth and justice!.!. But all things in moderation- We can not further progress technology simply by taking giant leaps of faith with no evidence!.

1!. I do pray sometimes!. When someone or something dies, or when someone/something needs something, I pray to God and hope that some good will come of it!. I believe in God when I need to!.
2!. I don't understand how we will thrive in paradise with God after we die!. How do we know that God isn't just a god someone made up!. I know we have the Bible and everything but what about Islam, Bhuddism, and all the other religions and their gods!. Where did they come from!? If someone just made them up, then why not our God too!?
I can't choose between 1 and 2!. Times I do believe in God, and there's times where I truly doubt he exists!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes i do!. i believe God is real and guiding me thru the hard times in my life!. for example right now my life has pretty much sucked for the last few months, i'm likely getting a divorce by the end of the year!. and add to that i'm not even in the same country as most of my supporters (family and friends) yet!.!.!. a coworker i've mostly ignored has stepped up to help me and offer me a shoulder to cry on!. she's become the best friend i have in this country and i think god sent her to help me be able to get thru this when most of the people i care about are so very very far away!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

honestly i don't know because there is not proof that there is!. YES there is the bible, but that's not proof enough because the REAL bible was made thousands of years ago, if there was a real bible!. also my dad said that there are some things that were revised and edited in it!. i believe there's a God, but i don't have proof that there is one!. no one has proof!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i believe that everyone has their own opinion, If god is real then he gave us free will as the bible says, giving every body a choice on what they done, and also what they believed in!. Therefore, know one will ever know until God stares us in the face!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
