I think in talking through pain, you learn to become familiar with it, yes!. Through that you learn how to cope with and control your feelings!. You could very well become numb to the pain but, again, through that you are healing yourself!. You are starting to realize it is not so important!. You talk through it in order to forgive and let go!. The "familiar" I think your talking about could also be the feeling peace!. As you work through pain, the ultimate goal is to get over it and become at peace with everything!. So yes, the familiar is not necessarily a bad thing!.!.!.it could be the very sign that you are starting to become OK!.

However, bottling it up!.!.!.that kind of numb pain is not healthy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
