Platitudinous means the phrase is used often, and not just a cliché, but something that is thrown around lightly, with the same kind of inflection as "how are you!?"!. An opposite would be something serious and rare, like the word "terrorist" nowadays!.
A ponderosity is something one ponders over; a philosophical statement, or something obscenely intelligent!.
