The contrast is an essential ingredient of existence-----it is up to us humans to filter out the degrees of difference, thus aligning ourselves/others with some value we attribute to each contrast we encounter---even the interpretation process is subject to differing viewpoints !Www@QuestionHome@Com

Every human has an apple!.
Nice people give their apples away!.
Greedy people keep their apples!.

A world with only nice people:
Everybody gives their apple away -> everybody has an apple!.

A world with only greedy people:
Everybody keeps their apple -> everybody has an apple!.

A world with both:
Nice people give their apples away!.
Greedy people keep their apples!.
Greedy people get more apples!.

i don't know about need, since i think need can only matter really if you you define "for what"!.

but i think the world would be a better place with as many nice people as possible, and without any greed whatsoever!.

and i think that simply by removing greed you would create situations where more people are more free to be nice!.

Greed is a form of mental illness and causes untold suffering!. The world needs people who realise this, and behave accordingly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
