hmmmm

a thought I had -
I think you have too much idle time,
not enough work to do!.!.!.lol!.!.!.!.
seriously
let's meander thru this one
it appears to tie in with the last

I had a heart
I gave it away
for safe keeping
to a trusted friend

I lost my heart
when I first saw
him
looking innocent
a soule brand new

I had happiness
brief and fleeting
I lost it somehow
in you

to have
to hold
to possess
misplace
lost
till refound
reformed
or new

the difference is the taste
it is the feel, the texture
the wear on the soule
"I had"
floods me with sweet smiles
warm embraces
fills me with a happiness
I thought lost
"I lost"
bitterness, tears
that ache-pain in the throat
you would think it would be
felt in the chest, the heart!.!.!.
but the throat!.!.!. ouch
I lost leaves me
wishing to taste the
happiness I can not bring
myself to feel!.!. out of fear
my throat would be hurting
all over again
it feels like dread
fear
empty and hollow
drained
fresh enough wound
reopens again

I had a great night!.!.!. a great love!.!.!. I am whole enough to move forward and live, love, learn, grow and cherish that which came into my life and heart!.!.!. and remained back there, past tense!.!.!.!.
I lost my mind, my keys, my heart!.!.!.!.!. funny, I know that if something is lost!.!.!. it can and will again be found!.!.should flood me with feelings of hope!.!.!.!. it does not!.!.!.!. it looks, feels so gone!.!.!. is it the unknown!.!.!.!. where did I lose it!.!.!. uncertainity of when!.!.!. or how!.!.!. why!.!.!.!. if something is not understood, it is a scary thing!.!.!. and we never want to look under the bed!.!.!. or the closet at night while we are so very young!.!.!. but then, one day!.!.!.!. the closet is just that!.!.!. the bed is heaven sent for the weary and whatever resided under it!.!.!.!. will never be a bother again!.!.!.!. the fears faced it vanishes and the "lost" is found in courage to move on!.!.!.!. turning bitter to bittersweet and then!.!. blessedly it becomes found in sweetness again!.!.!.!.

the difference between I lost and I had is the difference between a cut or wound and a scar!.!.!.!.it is perspective, outlook, healing!.!.!.!.!. it is timeWww@QuestionHome@Com

First you have,

Then you, on your own account, let It go-- which makes It what you had!.

Or you never realised you had it in the first place but when It left, you weren't particularly saddened by it-- which also makes it what you had!.

Or you're forced to let it go-- which makes It what you've lost!.

OR you regret letting it go willingly-- which also makes It what you've lost!.

In the end it's gone anyway, so why bother!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

CONTROL

control is the only difference
if you let it go it was your decision and under your control
if you lost it it was because you lost control over it

the only difference between a man who die from natural causes and one who is executed is control!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The only way that I can think to explain it is like this:
when you were little you had a tri-cycle, you haven't lost the tri-cycle but you had one!. When you loose something it is more of misplacing it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
