Question: Are people more interested in the meaning of life or the existence of God!?
Looks like these are the two prevalent question in the philosophy section: "What's the meaning of life!?" and some "How do we know god exist!?" type question!. You get those questions like every page or so!.

If humans can have one answer do you think they would rather know the meaning of life or the existences of God!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I suspect that those question reflect the extent of what most people know OF philosophy!. They ask them because they THINK they are philosophical questions, not because they are actually looking for answers!.

I sincerely doubt if I have persuaded anyone to believe because I do, or to think beyond "what's it all about!?" to take responsibility for their own thoughts because I suggested it!.

Between those two questions I would rather know where the hole in the donut goes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think if you're interested in one, you're interested in the other!. The two topics go hand in hand because if there's a meaning/point to life, then something must have created that meaning!. I think people want to know the meaning of life, because that helps them to figure out how they're supposed to be living (the answer creates a meaningful lifestyle), while finding out about God is just finding an answer to a question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I can't speak for everyone, but I would say the meaning of life!.

If you asked about the existence of God, and got a yes, then you would know the meaning of life!. If you got a no, then you would just be hanging!.

If you asked about the meaning of life, then you could get an answer like "to serve God" or something!. It's a much more general question, therefore open for better answers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most probably the meaning of life!. I think that if I HAD to choose, I'd want an answer to that question!. Think about it, if the meaning of life was to "serve God", for example, then the opther question is also answered!. But being the greedy person I seem to be, I'd want an answer to both!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This may help shed some light on both questions

I would say the meaning of life because God could be the meaning of life!. But if he isn't then you do know the meaning of life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Personally speaking, I would love to know the meaning of my life!. I'm pretty comfortable with my personal beliefs on "god"Www@QuestionHome@Com
