Question: What do you think "we" are!?

I don't believe in souls or any religious crap like that!. Therefore, I believe I am "my" brain, one organ controlling my muscles and body!. Difficult to accept for many, but that's basically what we are, just a machine who tells our body what to do and accepts information from other inputs!. What do others think we are!. Im not in the mood for millions of christians saying "we're gods children, he gave us a soul"!. Please, sensible answers only!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If we were just a machine, we would not have emotions!. Sometimes, we do the opposite to logicl just because we ''have a feeling''!. Most people are ruled by their heart, not their head!.

I believe that we have souls and that God gave us that!. I know it is illogical, but it what my emotions tell me!. This isn't exactly mechanical reasoning!. But, I respect your beliefs and I am not trying to say this to ''convert'' you or anything!. I'm just using my faith as an example of the illogical things people do!.

I don't know what we are, but we are not machines!. We are not all uniform in apperance or even nature!. We each have different thoughts and ideas!. Maybe I am over complicating a simple answer!.

I think we are just Human!. Nothing else, just plain old,silly,irrational,sometimes moronic Human!. To be Human, is to be expressive, ever questioning and ever thinking!. That is what we are!.

While I do believe in souls, albeit not in the christian way, I also believe that person has his/her own consciousness to the world!. In retrospect, "we" are part of the universe in which we strive to survive any catastrophe!. So to sum it all up we both biologically strive to survive and as our own consciousness we learn how to survive with the events that we go through!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
