Question: What is a genius!?

In your own word, what is it!? If someone who know a lots about mathematics, but can't spell; does it makes him a genius!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Definition: An exceptional natural capacity of intellect, especially as shown in creative and original work in science, art, music, etc!. (www!.dictionary!.com)!.
Now, let me define polymath:
Polymath: All-around genius!.
Therefore, if you know a lot about mathematics, and are brilliant in applying it, you then are a mathematical genius!. Similarly, you're an English genius if you're like this in English!. So, if you know a plethora about one subject and are brilliant at applying it, you are a genius (a genius in that subject, specifically)!.
So if you know a lot about mathematics and you can't spell, you most likely are a mathematical genius, therefore being a type of genius!. If you are a genius in all subjects, then you are a polymath (I do not recommend becoming one of these, because usually these people have no friends, no family, and live a very lonely and depressing life)!.

A genius is someone who makes you go "wow!." Whether it is throwing a football or writing a symphony!.

Intelligence wise there are some major categories of genius most of which aren't on any IQ test!.

Verbal Genius & Math Genius (IQ categories)
Mechanical Genius, Coordination, Musical Genius, Artistic Genius, Emotional Quotient Genius and Humorous Genius!.

There are lots I haven't considered like Hunting and Tracking, Counting, Philosophical Savants etc!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I guess a human being with mental capacities that exceeds those of a defined quantity of majority!. like better than 90% of average population or whatever!. whatever percentage you set i guess depends on the definition of the word or your own idea!.

these can be manifest by someone either in a very specific application or in a multitude!.

as for IQ i find that using IQ tests to define intelligence is like measuring how tall people are by observing how good they are at basketball!.

Despite those things like humor "geniuses"(which are play of words) i think it is most correct to put it this way!.

Genius - A person who exceeds in a certain field!.

Its a sheer brain power, no wisdom, no cleverness!. Other geniuses unlike; art genius, mathematics, genius, genius linguist, etc are all technically not "geniuses" just like i mentioned above about humor "geniuses", because humor doesnt always come from intelligence!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To me, it is someone who is talented in at least one mental thing!. If he's amazing in math, but doesn't spell well, then he's still a genius!.
But, I don't classify people with a good memory genuises!. Because, having a good memory doesn't mean that you can see things differently, or understand a complicated concept!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Someone who is a hypocrit!. Their lifestyles can vary as much as anything, but it all falls on the individual 'genius' They don't have to know 'much' !.!.!.!.just!.!.!.!.!.!.!.stuff most people choose not to think about!. They go by their own nature, so most I guess will be out-casted!. I don't hold enough words in my writer blocked brain right now, but I know what it is!. It's indescribable!. Their thoughts differ drastically than others!. They take an idea, flip it and turn it into something completely different!. They use what they think is logical and beneficial!.
