Once a family friend, psychiatrist told me exactly that : that the image we have for ourselves is taking its final form, from the image that others have of us!

A little bit!. Sometimes I have a tendency not to realize some of the good things about myself!. Hearing others mention my positives helps my self-image!. However, I take care not to base my self-image predominantly on what others think!. I need to truly assess myself (even the parts of myself that others generally don't get to see)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A lot of it, but that's just me!. Although I may think of myself as one thing, others have me labeled as something else!. Sometimes they see in me things that I've failed to see in myself and have failed to admit it!.!.!.possibly out of fear of what I have become!. So I guess I have to take what they say into consideration!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
