Question: We are nearing the ability to clone, will the clone have the same status of the original!?

The study of cloning is pretty sick because the direction its going is they want to be able to clone important people , like say the president, so that way if something were to go wrong with his physical self then there is an exact duplicate so they can take whatever part from the clone (like if he needed a heart transplant or something like that) it would be available!.See the messed up thing about that is the clone would have its own persona and soul, so what are they willing to grow people and keep them in cages there whole lives, and then murder to give the "clonee" the necessary part!. As far as I'm concerned is that its probably allready happenning, and these clones are "real people
' they just happen to have the same genes as someone else!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is no reason it shouldn't!. A clone will have the same genes as its "original," but not the same history -- which will make it hard to see the clone as anything but an independent entity!. (Each person is a product of both genes and environment!. Two genetically-identical beings with drastically different histories will not be exact replicas, no matter what that Arnold Schwarzenegger movie says!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are so many things that the world has done!. So well only time will tell seems as they are finding something for everything!. An well cloning well that is another thing they are working on!. So only time will tell!.!. Well also that is well they have done some and coming up with something that are not good, but trying to get passed it!. But i do not give the government doughty that they could do it!. But well i mean to be able to do a full human only time will tell and how long it will live and everything in that good nature!.

God bless you and good luck with the answer!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Human tissue is being grown in lab animals!. Clones of several species of animal have already been created!. This is dangerous territory!. The only reason to have a clone of your body is to: A!. Live forever (if theoretically you could put all of your experiences into the new brain)!. OR!.!.!.and this is the most savage one of all, the clone is created as a storage unit for replacement parts!. No life of it's own!. Kept alive for the purpose of harvesting parts and and organs as needed!.
Terrifying aspects to this experimentation!. Science can be beautiful and enormously helpful, but has a dark side!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Of course, a clone is but an identical twin displaced in time!. For some reason people are not upset that they may be eating cattle that are twins, but are upset about the thought of eating a clone!. What we have is a lapse in education about what a clone actually is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We have the ability to clone but it's ilegal!. Why!? Because some fear that the clone will be used as spare parts!. For example: You need a heart transplant well you just take the heart your clone has!.

You know what!.!.!.!.!.I'm tired!.!.!.!.
I'm gonna take a nap!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't!. A human being's genetic makeup should not diminish, let alone remove their status as a human person!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!.

It will be truly a "new identity" with its own set of rights, values, responsibilities and privileges!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We are close to cloning organs and parts!.!.!.!.but not the whole!. Honestly I don't think we will ever be allowed to clone the whole even if we could!. Too many problems with that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey i remember you from R&S!.

And to answer your question it's not a clone unless it is just like the thing it was cloned from!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it is entirely anew subject-- it is very diffcult to say any thing at this point!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
