One of the main reasons that men have a hard time understanding a women is because it is hard for women to understand themselves even almost completely!. As a woman, I know that my thoughts, emotions and personality is far more complex than a male's!. The stretch of emotions that we as women carry is both a gift as well as a punishment!. Since men are not as emotionally complex as we are, they have a tougher time understanding us and tend to block us out and move on since there is NO way they would be able to understand!. It does not mean that they do not care, they are simply not able to comprehend what we (women) ourselves can't comprehend about ourselves!.

Another reason why that might be is because women are in an important era where their roles are dramatically changing!. For example from a typical house wife to an independant single lady without kids even!. Women, the already complex individuals undergoing such dramatic change in the role that they play in their everyday lives are definately tough to understand and to satisfy!.

Scientifically speaking, we use different parts of our brain!.

We are good at different things, we tend to approach questions with different ideas, and we have(i believe) in average different "range" of feelings!.

Men tend to want physical love when women tend to want "spiritual" love!.

To understand someone you would have to go through the same situations as that person!. So men cant go through the same situation cause they are not treated the same!.
