Question: Do you ask questions to be enlightened or to be entertained!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I ask questions to be enlightingly entertained!. Why have one if I can have both!? Asking questions makes me think of things that interests me and reading answers from people who took time to answer my Qs makes me feel flattered that they actually took the trouble to answer such nonsense from me!. Imagine that!? It made me feel special!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I ask Q's to find out how people think and to see if they have a better A than I do when I framed the Q! The goal is to understand the topic of the Q better and to get to even deeper Q's and deeper connections!. At least that is what I enjoy when the nitpickers aren't emerging from their cocoons to attack me rather than address the ideas under consideration!. That part of the process is neither fun nor enlightening! When that happens "A waste of time and effort!." would be a better characterization!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I want honest thoughtful perspectives when I ask questions!. I leave the entertainment perception up to the eye of the beholder or in this case the one who answers my question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well I ask because I want to know the answer, so that would be enlightened!. Sometimes I make fun of people by "asking" something, usually stupid, but not here!. Though I've only ever asked one question here!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

more reasons than those two!. sometimes they are question statements to persuade or start a fight!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To be entertained in an enlightening way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
