it has been this ones experience that animals behave as if they do as they appear to demonstrate feelings of love, caring, loyalty, courage, sadness, depression and elation!.

My daughter and this one reside with a cat!. When my daughter goes to visit her mother, the cat seeks out any article of her clothing that he can find and will sleep on the same!. He will walk around in her room and search the apartment for her!. He will also sit by the door so as to watch for her return!.

When she arrive back at our apartment, he follows her throughout the same for a long period after her return appearing to re-assure himself that she is home and will be there for a while!.

This one knows of individuals who own birds that are very possessive of their owners and seek affections from them as well as company!.

Dogs show great love and caring for those with whom they reside, often being willing to sacrifice their lives in the service of the same!.

The great apes have been noted to hold strong emotions among their troop!.

Whales and dolphins demonstrate emotions for their own as well as for others of a different species!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is a tricky one to answer, on one had, yes they do and on the other, they don't!. If you!.!.!.!.!.!. stepped on a cats tail (which would be very mean to the cat!) it will pull away and hiss or bite/scratch!. This is because it has many nerves running through its body, like a human does!. So!.!.!.!.!.!.!. the cat does have feelings like pain!. Now here comes the tricky part!. A human has a different type of feeling!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. like if some one hit another human they would not only feel pain but they would also feel something else as well!. This is the voice inside your head!. You would be thinking: why did he/she do that, does he/she not like me!? Well this extra feeling is a different feeling and no one knows if animals have this, however there are many people around the would trying to find this out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depends what you mean!. Most animals (exceptions include dolphins and chimps) don't have emotions in the way we understand the term (they don't feel love etc!.) but they do have desires which cause them to act in a certain way, much like us!.
The difference between us and them is that we can control our feelings (and it's 'evolved form', emotion) whereas they cannot!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know animals have feelings!. They may be more basic than humans, by basic I mean pure!. Humans skew their feelings with their "intelligence"!. Animals just feel!. If you have any doubts that animals have feelings of love, fear, loyalty, just watch a family of elephants, or whales, or greater apes!.

I believe they do!. I've seen animals FEAR people, as well as LOVE people!. I've seen them love and hate their own kind as well!. When you LOVE an animal, they love you back!. If you treat them horribly, they will do the same at times, but they also have been known to FORGIVE!. When you see cats play together, they are feeling something!. Happiness, I'm sure!. If one scratches the other, they feel the pain and react to it!. Just because they don't talk like us or act like us doesn't mean they don't have feelings!. A cat's purr is a feeling!. A dog's tail wagging is another!. There are so many feelings, and only those who stop to think of the animals find out what those feelings are!.

People who treat animals badly are the same who treat humans badly!. If they see someone they feel is "inferior", they provoke and hurt them!. It's almost always the little guy that suffers, too!. They KNOW what suffering is!. Anyone who believes this is wrong is ignorant!. People need to pay more attention!. My dog is able to feel

fear (I used to keep a cane, not anymore PETA users, now I just scream when she disobeys),
lonliness (until I come home from my summer job!. <3 much),
lust (she seems to go a lot for the Golden Retrievers mmm she like),
suspicion (when I see her after being away for a year; my family takes care of her then),
satisfaction (bits of my dinner),
dissatisfaction (hates baths),
dread (vets),
adventurousness (walks),
despise (smaller dogs and stray cats),
ambivalence (she sighs for minutes sometimes as if she's saying "Sleep, eat, bark, run!. God isn't there more to my life than this!?"),
anger (strangers she doesn't like) and

Yeah man! It's usually easy to see when they're scared, happy, or sad!. Probably don't have as broad of a range of feelings as people but, I believe they do have the major ones listed above!. That's why animal abuse is so freakin awful, they have physical feelings as well as emotional ones!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Certainly!. I had two old old chihuahuas!. The male just died and even though I have tried to distract her, the female every day goes to the spot in the yard where he collapsed and smells it and whimpers!. She smells his bed and she sometimes even gets in his bed and lays there not sleeping and you can see she is clearly sad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes they do!. I am a dog lover!. Had one since I was a bot 46 years ago!. I fell out of a tree and broke my shoulder my companion watched over me until I left the yard!. My wife informed me after coming home from the hospital that my dog was acting strangely!. After seeing me OK he appeared to be his regular self!. idk!. According to the bible they dont have souls!. But dogs get sad when you yell, or at least they look sad!. I want to believe that my pets have souls so i can see them in heaven, but then all animals would have souls!. and you know how crowded heaven would be with a bunch of dead mosquitoes souls!? yeah they get scared obviously they get hungry just like we do, they get hurt and feel pain just like we do, its exstreamly obviouse that they feel, and in order to feel pain and hurt and hunger you must have feelings!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
