Question: What does it mean to be "external" in your locus of control!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
It means that you see events in your life as being controlled mostly by the influence of something other than yourself, something outside of yourself, thus "external"!. If you had an internal locus of control, you would see most events in your life being the effects of your own behaviors, decisions, and actions!. An external locus of control person is going to tend to give credit for events in life as being effects of "fate", "destiny", "God" or even other people!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I a assume locus is a misspelling of focus!. Overt focus upon external factors deflects internal drive and will!. The objective then is to align and assimilate the dual external and internal will until they are one!. Unity and accord of objective and will!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

External means outside, locus of control is unheard of!.Maybe it means that the governance by some unheard person maybe God or Diety controls our lives!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
