My past makes me meWww@QuestionHome@Com Jim the Fee, here Your concept of "experience" appears to be infinite and that may cloud your approach to this question!. You can "read" about someone having experienced an event!. But that is not the totality of that experience - you would have to have experienced the event and in so doing you might have "seen" things differently!. Perception does that to events in the experiential field!. So now you have two "experiences" of the relatively same event and that is the sum of that one experience!. But lets drop down to you subconsious mind for the moment!. Many behaviorial psychologists will tell you that your dreams are the mechanism which allows you to further your "awaking" experience and this adds another link to your "sum" Then, when you get much older, you beginning to recapture earlier experiences and will analyze them from your current position and come up with another dimension of the experience!. When, finally, you are on your "death bed" and ready to expire - you can say aloud or to yourself That is the "sum of my experience": BUT, what if you choose to "go around again" in another life!!?!!?
