Question: Are you afraid or bored of silence!?

If we are not rooted in our source which is silence,there will

I believe silence is useful!. I can't explain what I mean very clearly but I remember reading through this webpage, http://www!.quotegarden!.com/silence!.html , only the other day and it made me realise that silence is not boring but useful!.

I think when there is silence and you are alone you can either feel very calm and relaxed, or like you mentioned, afraid!.

I like to relate to facts and I believe silence is useful because it is proved that it is!. (I sound like a load of gobbledigook!)

Like if you were sat in a room with 1 person and you were not allowed to speak and had to be silent, can you imagine how much you would get from just looking at the person and their body language!.

Well, IF what he is saying were true, it seems to me that Nothingness is god, as it is at the heart of all phenomena!. So wouldn't a more valid question be, why was Nothingness afraid of being alone!? Perhaps it was afraid or bored of silence!? I am neither afraid or bored of or in silence!. For it is in silence I have discovered many things!. I have found on my journeys that there are many who are uncomfortable in silence!.
To be able to sit in silence and become One with that which is around you, say like in the forest, is a wonderous gift!. If you listen to the silence!.!.!.!.you discover that it is not so silent!. : )

I am at ease with silence!. I might go so far as to say I embrace silence!. I am able to do this because silence is an option for me!. I actually find the idea of being deaf both frightening and depressing!. But since I can choose silence and since my Lord instructs me "Be still and know that I am God," I don't find the silence that I seek frightening or boring!. There is much to be learned in silence! i actually enjoy silence!. i really do not like a lot of noise!. this quote is pretty powerful!. it's describing what a lot of people actually do not understand and/or are afraid of!. in silence you have to listen to what's beyond words!. i think a lot of people are afraid of going to that place!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
