Question: Is there ever beauty in death!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The further you are away from death, the more beautiful it is!. The inverse is also true!. For example!. The death of a star is spectacular!. An atomic bomb, as horrific as it is, can be seen as a beautiful image!. Death when up close and personal is repulsive!.

I have always been fascinated by volcanic eruptions!. When seen from a very safe distance, they are really something to behold!. When viewed close enough to see the destruction they leave behind, it has the opposite effect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I once saw a man die in a hospital!. His wife and son were there!.

The doctor was pounding on his chest!. His son was sticking a tube further up his nose and his wife was lighting some candles and started yelling out some prayer songs!.

None of them noticed the look of awe on the man's face the moment he died!. It was so striking and so reassuring that I cannot doubt that death will be a wonderful experience when it is our time!. I looked at the son and wife to see if they had noticed and they hadn't, when I turned back to the old man, his face was contorting, the soul had left and the flesh was cringing, but painless as the brain was not there to react the next second!.

From the point of view of the body, perhaps not so nice, but whatever he saw and by the expression on his face, there is beauty!. Interestingly many people are found dead with a smile or other blissful expression too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is beauty in death! So much art is inspired by death! it can be in the form of a joke, that is, that all rich and poor, Christian or Muslims or Hedonists and Atheists will die, or that films without death are boring! or that some Film directors can make death such an art that we we keep on going back for more at them, I am personally refering to Quenting tarantino or Oliver Stone!.

Then you get the phsychopatic murderers, who think of killing as something pure, and cleansing and so on! but as most of the previous answerers tell you, death is not really great, its allways sad, maybe on those who have been suffering for to long wil be happy to die!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Php 1:20 This is according to my eager expectation and hope that I will have nothing to be ashamed of!. Instead, because of my boldness Christ will be exalted in my body, now as always, whether I live or die!.
Php 1:21 For to me, to go on living is Christ, and to die is gain!.
Php 1:22 Now if I go on living in this body, that will produce more results, yet I do not know which I would prefer!.
Php 1:23 Indeed, I cannot decide between the two!. I have the desire to leave this life and be with Christ, for that is far better!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Truly it depends on how you view death!.
Death is beautiful to one that has been suffering a long time, ever notice how peaceful they are after they die!?

Yes definitely, in my opinion!. There is an indescribable beauty in the moment of death that transcends our usual view of beauty!. I am not talking of the process but the moment!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Beauty in the death itself!? No, I think not!. But just as the thorn helps us appreciate the rose, perhaps the experience of knowing that our lives are fleeting helps us appreciate the beauty in life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ever seen a man die in combat!?
I've killed men!. I've heard them dying and I've watched them dying and there's nothing glorious about it, nothing poetic!.
