We control our future, but you can also say that we can control our past!. It is also right to say that our past control us because it shapes our outlook of life!.

A lot of history is BS, history is impure!. Some of them are distorted and biased!. Basically some part of history has been changed; controlled by humans!. I think it is half right to say that we can control our past!.

Past controls us because it shapes our personality!. If you were successful on most things, you will be confident and thus trying more!. If you were a failure, you will not be confident and thus NOT trying more!. So yes, you can say that past can control us!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

By taking control of our "nowaday" sh*t we can directly influence and shape the future!. In said future, what we've done today, will be the past!.
Therefore we can control the past!.
Having grown up in a country, and a time in my country's growth, that was extremely troubled and violent, I fully understand how the past can control us!.
Through education and communication we "can" create/control a new future past!.

If you believe that history is bound to repeat itself, then there is a great possibility that the past controls the future!.
Even if we learn from the past, somethings leave unchangeable trauma or memories!.
I do agree however that the future is what we make of it in spite of the past!.

Yes to both-such as I planted a garden of vegetables and they grew now i have food or in the past i planted but i it not grow and now i have none,plant seeds now (it will soon be the past) and that past will visit you tomorrow!.
