In my understanding marriage was originally an institution under any god so why do people who do not believe in God want to marry!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because marriage is supposed to be the proof that you love the other person unconditionally, and that you are committed to being with them for the remainder of your lives, through sickness and health, good times and bad, all that stuff!. It has nothing to do with god!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

get a judge to do it and leave out God then you have to deal with the consiquinces of leaving out God, It's not accepted in society!. even if society doesn't have God in their hearts they still want it to look like they doWww@QuestionHome@Com
