Question: What meaning do you get from this!.!?
I waken from a nightmare
Still clouded by visions of death
The mist creeping in through the screen
Dampens and cools my hot skin
Something calls me to go out in the yard
I stumble slowly down the steps
Walking gently thrrough the damp mud
In my mothers garden
I brush the chimes as I turn the corner
I see my mother standing there
Looking down into the shallow pond
A fistful of stones held lightly
She sees me coming
A glow on her face of love
True love
that of a mother for her child
She smiles and looking down
She tosses another stone into her pond
I take one from her hand
Kiss the cold stone and set it freeWww@QuestionHome@Com

!.!.!.

*Shrugs* Yep, that's what I got out of it!. But that's just me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To me, you are reliving the loss of something dear to you!. Something that has a purely self important concept, yet has the attention of a loved one, in a way!.
That, that loved one is also saying 'goodbye' with an amount of melancholy!.
Yet not seemingly felt to the same extent, or a expanse of time!.
Has passed, so that the 'loved-one' has accepted the parting and is, whilst not happy, content with the situation and glad you are there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The mother is ready to release one of her grown children into the world!.
And the grown child (the dreamer) too, is ready to leave the "nest!." The "baby" in her/him is dead!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I see it as a release of something!. Regret, sadness, fear, loss!.

I think that it's a beautiful poem!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I see it as a flowery poem about childbirth or any sort of rebirth of anythingWww@QuestionHome@Com
