Question: What we type now in Yahoo! Answers - will it be preserved somewhere 300 years from now!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Possibly!. It won't be too much information to store as some might think!. The first data CDs, which now are not considered large capacity memory discs, were hailed as being able to hold the written text of an entire library!. As memory capacity increases it will surely be no big deal to have the entire content of Yahoo! question recorded for posterity!. It might be a good tool for those studying sociology at that time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, the light emitted from our computer screens is traveling - at the speed of light, of course - into space and it may - just may - be picked up at some point, if one can take a collection of photons, and successfully imprint them onto something that can be seen, which I think is implausible!. Nonetheless, it might be the case that our *information* will be traveling in space indefinitely, but preservation of this kind is really nothing to be happy about, as I'm sure there will probably be nothing there to see and understand it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no becuause yahoo will probably delete all this garbage when they go bankrupt!. there r so many better pieces of information to preserve such as all the words i type being put in a profile compiler by the NSA and the FBI!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I hate to think that 300 years from now, someone will be able to see a question from some stupid 14 year old girl saying:

"I had sex with seven guys without condoms, could I be pregnant!?"

Scary thought!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
