You have asked a question which was, is and will remain mind boggling ever!. It takes not one but many life times as a human being to get to the answer to this vexed question!. Having said that we even in our this life have an opportunity to find the answer to this question and the more we ponder over this question, the more we will rise in our spiritual status!. And the status that one achieves spiritually remains with him as a treasure and can only be raised in the subsequent births!. There is no chance to deminish the spiritual worth that you might have achieved so far!.

And coming to the question- 'Who am I', it will take me some more births as a human being to be capable to answer this!Www@QuestionHome@Com

But seriously, to other "I am whatever they think I am or imagine me to be!."

In the same way when i first thought about "Who am I !?" I created similar concepts of name and form, that i regarded as self!. over time i have removed many of these concepts!. This has allowed me to see that "I am" before thought, name and form!. That which is me is universal and eternal!.

But to name it, is to miss it!.

Theraveda scripture states Gautama taught from a position in Atman, or the "I Am" of the Way which Christ demonstrated!.
