Knowledge and wisdom can bring you happiness!. Unfortunately, happiness is not automatically attained if you are wise and knowledgeable!. Becoming wise and/or learning is something you do!. Being happy is caused by something you do or experience!.
If you are referring to conditioning yourself to only see and think the things that make you happy, happiness could be an automatic response to reality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

knowledge is power and with power comes responsibility!. so the more "knowledge" you attain in this life the more you can comprehend about a situation!. sometimes that can be pretty scary!. it's all how you use the knowledge you gain!. and thats where the wisdom comes in!. wisdom as I see it is knowing how to use your knowledge and it shows you the choices layed out before you!. whether you choose to be a good man or a bad one is your choice but it is also a choice to be happy or sad depending on how you veiw what your doing!. if you use your wisdom to accept knowledge and then do something to help the situation then yes wisdom and knowledge can lead to happiness!. if you learn about a great evil and are afraid to do anything then you will be sad because you will have the wisdom to know that you did nothing with the knowledge you attained!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Say someone is really wise and smart and starts charities with the millions of dollars he had and basically gave everything he earned to those who had nothing, then a sense of purpose would arrise!. It doesn't matter what you know or how wise the sage is !.!.!. if they do not act accordingly they will not find the joy nor happiness!. When one does act on it happiness will come but it doesn't necessarily mean "automatic", it could take time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
