From what--being educated!?
It used to be that Enlightnement to become men of the Renaissance was freeing to the mind!. Look at all the lives the Enlightenment saved, the advancements that got us on the moon and looking at photos of gas clouds billions of light years long and millions of light years away!.

If you can't do 1/10 of what the people of the Enlightenment could do, your mind is no where being "free!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

In my view, the best way is to first recognize the stereotypes we all have about the extrinsic world around us!. Some examples: Blacks are lazy!. Irish people just drink and fight!. Asians are inscrutable!. These egregious thoughts are somehow imbued into our own selves through our interpretations, primarily of the mass media!. For real change to occur, understanding that these stereotypes have their basis in a particular bias, which then manifests as a prejudice, may allow for a conscious effort to confront these aberrations of conduct!. All in an effort to realize that we are all the same, and only our weakness of mind disturbs us and creates the impression that superficial differences are of more importance than we should allow!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
