Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Absolute egalitarianism is impossible in any society, capitalist or not!. However, the ideal of egalitarianism can be approached to varying degrees across capitalistic societies!. Equality before the law, along with rights to public services, including health care, can bring us as close to the egalitarian ideal as capitalism permits!. For money to have worth, it must be sparse to some, and abundant to others!. With more money comes more power!. With more power comes hierarchy!. With hierarchy there can never be egalitarianism!.
