Personally, I believe in a higher power, but I don't rely on that power to help me out everyday (which is how I view what I call organized religion)!. I have had a couple of major things happen to me during my life which I attribute to being in the "hands" of some kind of higher power, but I don't pray for help!.

I think religion can be good for some people, because there are good, general "life rules" to be learned!. When religion becomes a bad thing is when it becomes the only thing a person has in their life, when a person relies upon religion so much they don't help themselves or others, when a person becomes fanatic about religion, when people do obviously wrong things because they've misinterpreted their religion, and when people use religion to promote their own warped ideas and agendas!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You should only follow a religion if you have faith in that religion otherwise it is unnecessary!. Most people follow religion as it was bred into them in their upbringing!.

Religion to me is a crutch!. I'd rather have my conscience finely honed!. Allow it to help me make the right decisions!. No God or Devil will help me feel helpless at knowing what must be done by all things, issues, people, living things!. If I have a good brain, I'd prefer cultivating within it its' sense of practical responsibility instead of leaning, as a weakness or laziness on imaginary help!. in my opinion religion is sth completely personal,even people who have religiongs with same name each one has her or his own religion!.everybody has his own way to touching god and ,and the god will accept any try in any way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Religion is man's search for GOD; spirituality is man's relationship with GOD!.

I enjoy my church!. Worship is and should be a very personal thing and should be 24/7, not just Sunday morning!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
