Question: Memory theory!?
This is my theory!. If someone says they are going to erase your memory of the next three years, you would go from that moment to three years later because you would not remember the rest!. it would be like those years never happened!. So do we retain our memories after we die!?If we didn't, we would just skipright through life without knowing any of it happened!. If you asked someone who was there, they would say it happened, but to you, it wouldn't exist!.So if no one remembered anything after they died, it would be like nothing ever happened!.That also ties into the previous life thing where people say they don't remember previous lives!.if they forget it would be like th previous lives never happened!.if my theory is right,it would prove the reincarnation theory to be false, unless they all remember their previous lives!.What do you think!?IT IS JUST A QUESTION AND I DO NOT MEAN TO OFFEND ANY RELIGEON!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I believe we retain our memories after we die as the bible says that we will be able to recognize others in their spiritual form in heaven, if you're a son or daughter in christ!. I think the whole saying somone was to erase your memory of the next three years is a much more interesting discussion than if we do or do not retain our memories, but that's just me!. It begs the question of "what would you do, or not do, in the next three years!?"Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your theory actually supports reincarnation!.

I like your theory!.

I had my memory erased when i had to take my operation!. I just dont remember but that doesnt mean it didnt happen!.

The process being forgotten doesnt negate the outcome, it simply doesnt matter!.

There are people who 'remember' their past lives, although this cannot be considered as a proper evidence but there are lots of documents done on reincarnation!. Believe it or not, its your choice!.

The problem here is that your completely basing your idea on your assumptions and there is no way to validate your theory!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think the problem is that the eternal part of our make up is spiritual, and memories are stored in the grey matter, as we do not take the mind on to future lives it is only possible to know things which happened in the past by reading history books!.
a novel will give an insight into the emotions a person is experiencing in any given situation, so that when a person experiences a similar situation they will have a better understanding of what is happening to them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is a religious (or influenced by religion) question for assuming there is life or a sort of existence after death, I believe what awaits us after we die is the same void that lies before we come to this life, you do not have memories that date before your birth so it will be the same!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"So if no one remembered anything after they died, it would be like nothing ever happened!." key word is "like"!. it would SEEM like nothing happened, but that doesn't necessarily mean nothing happened!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
